Carroll's incoming class has 793 students.
This year’s incoming class of 793 first-year students is the second-largest in Carroll’s history. It also boasts the largest nursing class ever—170 students.

President Cindy Gnadinger said, “The whole Carroll community and our amazing enrollment team did wonderful work from start to finish, beginning with an outstanding effort to build a strong applicant pool last fall, followed by guiding students through the
financial aid process, and finishing with their enrollment in the spring and summer.”
Many of the nearly 800 students were attracted to the university’s
Health Sciences programs, with approximately one-quarter selecting Carroll as their nursing school of choice. Another 20% of students selected Carroll for its
physical therapy program.
The new class is 71% female, 29% male, and has an average GPA of 3.68. The average ACT is 23.5.
High schools contributing the most students to the Class of '23 include:
- Waukesha South High School — 19 students
- Franklin High School — 18 students
- Mukwonago High School — 16 students
- Arrowhead High School — 15 students
